Round Bars
We offer Round Bars of various grades, diameters and lengths. These round bar steel are available as hot rolled, forged, cold drawn, rough turned, turned and polished, quenched and tempered, thermally treated or annealed.
The Round Bars are provided with a Material Test Certificate. The Round Bar's chemical composition and mechanical properties are tested before dispatch and hence only quality materials get delivered to our customers.
TYPES OF ROUND BARS
Cold Drawn or Bright Round Bars
Cold Drawn or Bright Bars are available for sizes 5mm dia to 100 mm dia. Free Cutting Steel is available in Bright Bars.
Common Grades are: EN1A leaded and non-leaded, 9SMnPb28K, 11SMnPb30.
The materials are free from any defects and are provided with Material Test Certificate.

USES OF ROUND BARS
Solid round bar steel is widely used for many general fabrication and repairs in industrial maintenance, agricultural applications, transportation equipment, ornamental work and construction projects. It is often machined, forged and or formed into a variety of parts used in a multitude of industries including agriculture, automotive, building, construction and oil fields.
It is used to make products like Shafts, Gears, Nuts and Bolts, Machine Parts, Oil Rig Parts, Airplane parts, Automotive parts, etc. The Round Bar made out of Steel is very strong and so it can be used to make rigid pillars in oil rigs. The Steel Solid Round Bar's Properties can be changed by applying various heat treatment processes so it can be used in a variety of fields.

Steel that is Quenched or Hardened has a different use than Steel which is Normalized and Annealed. Steel which is hard is used in making machine parts like gears which require the raw material to be hard. The Annealed Steel is ductile and hence can be used where the product needs to be bent. Eg: Bent rods used for weight lifting.
